Afghanistan - Three US-led foreign soldiers serving with the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) have been killed in separate incidents in Afghanistan.
ISAF announced in a Tuesday statement that two soldiers were killed by improvised explosive devices in the south and the east of the country and another one lost his life in a militant attack in the east.
It noted that all three incidents took place on Tuesday, without giving further details on the nationality of the soldiers or exact location of the incidents.
"It is ISAF policy to defer casualty identification procedures to the relevant national authorities," the statement said.
More than 98 foreign soldiers, most of them Americans, have lost their lives in Afghanistan since the beginning of this year, according to figures released by the website icasualties.org.
Insecurity continues to climb across Afghanistan despite the presence of tens of thousands of US-led troops.
