Girls working as prostitutes in a German brothel
I do not sell my body for sex nor am I an individual who would pay for sex but I am advocate for individual liberty and therefore I will always defend the right of any individual to voluntarily sell their body for sex and for the right of any individual to pay for sex. So long as it is between consenting adults and it I s not harming anybody personally I do not personally see what the problem with prostitution is. But not only am I writing this article in defence but out of anger at recent government proposals on prostitution because they are threatening the livelihood of many who like to make a living from fucking and titillating.

It might surprise some nanny leftist types that yes some people actually like to fuck and titillate for a living. But why should it be such a surprise being as some people earn a living from singing, some people earn a living from acting, some people earn a living from performing magic tricks, so why should it be a surprise that any person wants to earn a living from fucking and titillating. But not only do people like to earn a living from sexual and erotic services and enjoy it, prostitutes and particularly a dominatrix’s are performing an important public service.

Its uncomfortable truth which not many people are willing to admit, that prostitutes and particularly a dominatrix’s actually perform an important public service. It is an uncomfortable truth is the existence of prostitutes and dominatrixes proves we do not live in such an enlightened and liberal society as some like think we do. Because prostitutes and dominatrixes service sexual deviance and kinky practices which many (typically men) can not be honest with their partners about. Plus another uncomfortable truth is because society is driven by vanity sex workers often service the sexual urges of the physically disabled and socially inept because everybody ignores the fact such people might have sexual urges. So I say thank goodness for Miss Whiplash because prostitutes and dominatrixes actually perform a vital service which actually benefits society as a whole.

The recent government proposals to make it illegal to actually pay for sexual services now threaten the livelihood of many. It is actually a grievous infringement upon the basic human right that you are the owner your own body. Property rights 1:01 you own your own body therefore as owner of your own body it is your body to with as you want so long as you don’t harm another. If an individual decides to sell their body for sex and they are not spreading sexually transmitted diseases or seriously injuring anybody then it really is no business of government. It is not melodramatic to say that it is Orwellian for the government to be telling any individual what to do and not to do with their body because it is Orwellian because the state is laying claim to your body when in fact all individuals are free independent beings. But if that wasn’t enough for this government it thinks it is now okay to instruct people what jobs they should be doing. As long as somebody is paying their and not harming another in the process what business is it of government.

But of course government thinks it is their business because ‘women are exploited’. Okay there are women who are forced against their will into prostitution but that’s because government allows it by not making prostitution a totally legal and therefore not a totally legitimate occupation which allows criminality exploit the situation. Those criminal gangs which do force women into prostitution must be prosecuted yes but then so should any group or company who uses slave labour. One point I would make is that the government is inconsistent on the issue of worker exploitation, instance being you do not hear the government screaming and shouting about various exports from the Far East where there is been some proof of slave labour. Another point is that the majority of women who work in the sex industry do so on their own volition. Plus it is actually rather sexist to presume its only women who work as prostitutes. There are plenty of transgendered sex workers and the reason their sex workers is not always due to any necessity other then their own libido.

The government also says that action needs to be taken about street prostitution. I would not deny that action should not be taken especially in localities where prostitutes are touting for business against the wishes of residents who live in that locality. Street prostitution is also a very dangerous occupation not just from organized criminality but also from the inane criminality in society. My advice for anybody who wants to sell their body for sex that it is best to do it from a private house or apartment. However there are some who for whatever reason can not operate from private premises but giving them prison sentences for soliciting is really dumb of the government. Under these new government proposals if a prostitute is caught soliciting on the street they could face a three day prison sentences. Firstly our prisons already at full stretch with people who should not be, so sending more people to prison for performing a service rather then committing any serious crime seems a bit dumb.

But what is really dumb is that with these new proposals the government are not differentiating between street prostitution and professional dominatrixes. A professional dominatrix is something very far removed from street prostitution. To begin with professional dominatrixes do not tend to offer direct sexual services, hand and blow jobs etc. Secondly to build up any customer base as a dominatrix you have to know a fair bit about BDSM practices and be competent at them. Thirdly BDSM equipment is not cheap to buy and maintain. Fourthly try wearing BDSM type PVC clothing in the middle of summer, no not exactly comfortable. Basically what I am saying here is that to be a professional dominatrix you really have to want to be one because it’s not easy to be one. Having met a few professional dominatrixes I know that dominatrixes get something out of their living other then money and because it is not as an easy job as some think it is. But trying telling that to a government witch has the mentality of instructing social workers that if clients say they would like to be a professional dominatrix then they need to be put into therapy.

When Tony Blair was Prime Minster the government they’d been considering proposals to relax the laws on brothels. But ever since Gordon Brown became Prime Minster there has been a new strain of Puritanism dictating government policy. There was the back peddling on super-casinos, and then there is the reclassification of Magic Mushrooms from being legal to class A, the review into the reclassification of marijuana and now attention has turned towards the sex industry. Yet has the government really thought thorough the consequences of banning the transaction of paying for sex because those consequences will affect society as whole. Firstly organised crime will find it ever easier manoeuvre and gain control as organise crime does whenever government brings in prohibition. But more scary the rates of rape and sexual assault will rocket upwards because their will be less service for sexual deviance for those who are socially inept etc or those who ca not act out their fantasies, women will definitely be exploited and then some but now the government would imagine.

Some might argue my solution is not pure libertarian as maybe some would like it but life is often about being pragmatic, about being able to compromise and to strike a balance. So any suggestion is about allowing prostitutes and dominatrixes to operated but giving the general populous some piece of mind about quality control. It is not original to say we could learn much from the Dutch about their tolerant and liberal attitude towards the sex industry. But it is now not just the Dutch who are taking a progressive or liberal attitude, territories in Australia have legalised brothels as well as the state of Nevada in the US. The fact that sex related crime went down in the state of Nevada when brothels were legalised, regulated and policed says a lot. That is my answer brothels should legalise and regulated and tolerance zones should be set up for street prostitutes to operate safely. In conclusion it is long over due to make the occupation of prostitution to be made, legal, legitimate and safe.

One last thing I would say to right wing moralists and nanny leftists.

I would much rather people fucked and sucked for a living rather then kill and maim.
