Because Authority Is…

At Least I’m Not As Bitter As The Daily Mail

Over the past few days I’ve been criticized by more then one person about my commentary upon the London 2012 Olympic Games. I’ve been accused by more then one person of being continuously bitter & angry & not doing the decent thing in supporting what the supposed majority might happen to be enjoying. Of course there’s been no acknowledgment from those ready to criticize me of my argument that the Olympics is a corporatist gangbang back by threats of violence & I don’t see them getting as worked up about some the rants which have been published in the Daily Mail as they have done so about the rants I’ve happened to published.

I might often be strongly opinionated in the rants I published here on The Bastard, but how strongly opinionated any rants I’ve published on this blog have been, I’ve never peddled hate & racism in any rant I’ve published here & nor would I. Many of those Middle England Tories who often have a dig at me for not enslaving myself to the will of the majority are the same kind of people who read the Daily Mail & the Daily Mail does have a history of peddling hate & racism in articles its published.

The Daily Mail has a history of peddling hate & racism in articles its published & is doing so in its coverage of the Olympics.

Some of us remember the rather vulgar things Daily Mail columnist Jan Moir had to say about the death of Stephen Gately's due to Gsately being homosexual, well she’s now referred to an athlete from the Netherlands as a ‘’some bitch from Holland’. Jan Moir referred to Marianne Vos whose Women’s Road Cycling Gold Medalist as ‘some bitch from Holland’ 7 I don’t see Middle England Tories getting as worked up about that obvious racist attack as they do with me complaining about corporate greed.

As well as Jan Moir’s obvious racist attack upon Marianne Vos, the Daily Mail also has been publishing other commentary upon the Olympics which is more then a tad racist.

Here’s a passage from an article published in the Daily Mail entitled ‘The NHS did not deserve to be so disgracefully glorified in this bonanza of left-wing propaganda’.

“This was supposed to be a representation of modern life in England but it is likely to be a challenge for the organisers to find an educated white middle-aged mother and black father living together with a happy family in such a set-up.

Almost, if not every, shot in the next sequence included an ethnic minority performer. The BBC presenter Hazel Irvine gushed about the importance of grime music (a form of awful electronic music popular among black youths) to east London. This multicultural equality agenda was so staged it was painful to watch.”

I might be harsh in my criticisms in regards to various things in regards to the Olympics but at least I don’t go about publishing personal attacks that are more then a tad racist or publishing anything which more blatantly racist.

Daily Mail's Jan Moir loses her tranquilisers, calls Marianne Vos 'some bitch from Holland'

The Bastard says:

It puts me in mind of a joke:

A banker, a Daily Mail reader  and the benefit claimant sit at a table when a cake, sliced into 12 pieces, is brought in. The banker takes 11 slices for himself, turns to the DM reader and says, "I'd watch that benefit scrounger if I were you - he'll steal your slice of the cake if you let him..."
