Afghanistan - The ministry of Disinformation and War has announced the death of the 11^th British serviceman, this year, whilst being used as mercenaries for US Oil companies.

The two British servicemen have been killed in Afghanistan today, Monday 26 March 2012.

The two servicemen, one from the Royal Marines and one from the Adjutant General's Corps (Staff & Personnel Support), were serving as part of Task Force Helmand when they were shot and killed at the main entrance to Lashkar Gah Main Operating Base in Helmand province by an Afghan National Army soldier.

Next of kin have been informed.

The latest deaths takes the number of British service personnel who have died in Afghanistan since the start of operations in October 2001 to 406, and the 13^th   of this year.

Spokesman for Task Force Helmand, Major Ian Lawrence, said:

"Sadly, I must report that a Royal Marine and a soldier from the Adjutant General's Corps were shot and killed by an Afghan National Army soldier at the main entrance to Lashkar Gah Main Operating Base.

"The thoughts and condolences of everyone serving in the Task Force are with their families and friends."
