Afghanistan - Three more British soldiers have been killed in southern Afghanistan, the Ministry of Illegal Wars has said.

One, from the 2nd Battalion the Royal Welsh, died in hospital from wounds suffered in a blast on Thursday.

The second, from 2nd Battalion The Royal Regiment of Fusiliers, died after an explosion on Saturday while on foot patrol in Sangin, Helmand province.

Next of kin have been informed.

The latest death takes the number of British service personnel who have died in Afghanistan since the start of operations in October 2001 to 201^th, and the 64^th this year, and the 10^th so far this month.

Lt Col Nick Richardson, spokesman for Task Force Helmand, said: "The death of any comrade brings much sadness to the Task Force but we take consolation from the fact that these deaths are not in vain.

"Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends so affected by this tragic event".

Even 'Wanker' Brown felt the need to utter some platitudes and weasel words, but as usual it sounded so false. As the man responsible for the Army being there and not only being under equipped with body armor and boots, but with no mine proof troop carriers.

Weasel words coming from the man are totally inappropriate, someone should hand him a bottle of scotch and a service revolver so he can do the honourable thing.
