UK - Once again the inbred genetically wanting British royal family has decided to dip its toe in the waters , and marry off one of the royal princes. Prince William and and Kate Middleton have announced their engagement. Much to the joy of all the people that make a killing out of commemorative memorabilia, and the sad royalist wankers who's  lives are made complete by such events.

But yet it might be as well to look at what happened to the marriages of the previous generation of royals. Both Prince Charles and Prince Andrew took young naive wives, Diana and Fergie. At first both marriages seemed to the outside world to be blissful. It did not however take long for the royal parasites hangers on and advisers to crush the life and fun out of both marriages.

Bishop Pete Broadbent, a soon to be ex C of E Bishop who is off to Rome, faced a barrage of criticism when he commented that he gave the Marriage of Prince William and Kate Middleton just seven years before it ended in divorce. On past precedent that is probably optimistic.

On his Facebook page, Church of England Bishop Pete Broadbent describes the Royal Family as ‘philanderers’ with a record of marriage break-ups who ‘cost an arm and a leg’.

He also denounces the ‘nauseating tosh’ surrounding the ‘national flimflam’ of the wedding and says the basis of the Monarchy is ‘corrupt and sexist’.

In a reference to the 1981 marriage of Prince Charles and Princess Diana, he adds: ‘I managed to avoid the last disaster in slow motion between Big Ears and the Porcelain Doll, and I hope to avoid this one too.’

Who can blame him. at least on the Royal family he is telling the plain and simple truth for once.

He also likened the couple to shallow celebrities. In that he (the bishop) is 100% correct. They are exactly like the vacuous personalities - a gross misuse of the word in my opinion - that fill the trash chav magazines day in day out.

Prince harry has not achieved anything yet, and attempts to make him into a soldier hero, backfired when it was revealed that he was not allowed any ware near the Taliban and the action hero photographs were all staged.

There does seem to be one positive in all this, and that is that the trash chav magazines might lose interest in that talentless slapper Katie Price.
