UK - This week we have a tragic case where the obvious candidate for The Bastard of the Week should be the homicidal maniac  Garry Weddell.

The Metropolitan policeman who murdered his wife and made her death look like a suicide. Then in the best gangster traditions, whilst out on £200,000-00 bail posed by his brother Geoffrey, he murdered the main prosecution witness in his trial Traute Maxfield, who also happened to be his mother in law.

That would be too easy. He should have never been given bail. He should never have been allowed near a gun club.

So this week we at the Bastard are awarding The Bastard of the Week title to his honour Judge John Bevan, who granted murdering scumbag Garry Weddell bail, back in September, and to the Brother of Garry Weddell, Geoffrey for putting up the £200,000-00 bail

We know why the bent judge gave maniac cop Garry Weddell bail, it is because both Garry Weddell and his brother Geoffrey who is a barrister, belong to the same masonic lodge.

We at the Bastard feel that the real responsibility for Traute Maxfield's murder at the hand of Garry Weddell belongs with the Judge and the man who put up the £200,000-00 bail. One thing is very certain, without the bail being put up and granted Traute Maxfield would still be alive and well.

Now every case that Garry Weddell gave evidence in will have to be reviewed. After murdering his wife and Mother in law, Garry Weddell can hardly be considered a reliable witness can he?
